At Step Forward Kingston, we follow Health Canada Guideline for Foot Care instruments reprocessing protocol. 

We first soak our dirty instruments in diluted Empower Dual Enzymatic Instrument Cleaner, and use Ultrasounic Cleaner and Metri Clean 2 to wash the pre soaked instruments. 

Then, We pack the instruments INDIVIDUALLY to sterlization pouch with chemical indicator. 

We put the packed instruments into autoclave, we clean our autoclave each month and have Spore test done every 24 hours. 

We make sure all our instruments are sterilized before we go to see our clients. We provide worry free foot care to our clients, in home or in clinic.
